Dear Kambria Community,

We are delighted to announce that in the past few months, we have made tremendous strides in developing our open, co-innovation platform and in advancing our mission of developing a more distributed, more participatory, and more decentralized approach to innovation. Please take a quick read to get caught up.

Mainnet Launch

We did it! On September 26, we officially launched our mainnet platform! “This release is a significant milestone for Kambria and our community,” said Thuc Vu, Kambria’s CEO and co-founder. “We can now connect investors, developers, manufacturers, and consumers to bring forth innovation in an exponential manner. Making the Kambria platform available on the mainnet is an open call for collaborative development, where we are starting with a series of hackathons across the globe.”

To mark the occasion, Kambria hosted an incredible by-invitation-only event at All In Station in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Over 100 technology enthusiasts and Kambria supporters attended to participate in the unveiling of Kambria’s open innovation platform by CEO, Dr. Thuc Vu. To see a video of Dr. Vu’s presentation, click here.

The event also featured a panel of distinguished speakers discussing “Investing in Frontier Technology.” The panel was moderated by Tu Nguyen, Chief Innovation Officer at SmartLog Vietnam and offered viewpoints related to frontier technology investing from experts in different sectors around the world. You can watch the lively discussion here.

In addition to all the amazing progress, the OhmniLab’s robot was featured on The Today Show in the United States. Did you know that to jumpstart the Kambria codebase, OhmniLabs will open source and provide complete K-DNA for the entire Ohmni robot?
