Greetings, Kambrians! As outlined in the Kambria Roadmap: 2020, we are starting the new year with a strong focus on community growth and development. We have already made great progress in growing Kambria’s reach and developer community worldwide.

Kambria Partners with Hangzhou Government China

In case you missed it, Kambria will soon open an office in China! Kambria was selected as one of the “Canal Elite” talent programs and will partner with the Hangzhou government to accelerate technology development in the region.

The new office will be located in Hangzhou International Talents Entrepreneurship and Innovation Park (HITEIP) where Kambria will work to build a developer community and expand Open-Innovation-as-a-Service.

We are excited to work alongside the government and the large ecosystem it has already developed to promote entrepreneurship and attract international talent. We will collaborate with local universities, corporations, investors and other key players in the innovation ecosystem. To learn more about our plan, click here to read the full announcement

Kambria Progress Report -- January 2020, Part 1

Our new China initiative is one way we will connect talented developers with Kambria’s global developer community. Another way is through the Kambria Code Challenge, a series of online quizzes and hackathons in Artificial Intelligence.

Challenges are an opportunity for developers to test their knowledge of AI algorithms, prove their coding skills, earn rewards and connect with Kambria’s corporate partners for career opportunities.

Kambria Progress Report -- January 2020, Part 1

Our first Code Challenge was a success! Quiz 01 attracted 233 developers who registered on the Kambria platform. Participants answered 15 multiple choice and short answer questions about the Fully Connected Neural Network, a class of deep neural networks commonly applied to analyzing visual imagery.

We’re still grading all of the submission and will announce the Quiz 01 winners on Thursday at 10 AM UTC+7 (Vietnam) or PST 7 PM. Top scorers will be featured on our leaderboard so please stay tuned!
