1. Program Onboarding Overview
In the Program Onboarding Overview, Ms. Liên Cao from the Kambria Core Team shared an overview to guide DAO members through the starting steps.
She began by outlining the goals of the meeting: welcoming members from the 4 DAOs, connecting them with DAO Facilitators and teammates, aligning on tools and workflows, and setting the tone for a creative, impact-driven experience.
She then introduced key resources to help participants navigate the program, including the current stage, documentation, DAO basics, proposal and reporting workflows, DAO tools, and upcoming milestones. The intention was to provide a roadmap rather than dive into details.
Reviewing the journey so far, she presented a funnel chart: from 182 registrants, 121 moved to the Qualification stage, 91 to Verification, and now 61 members remain in the Kickoff stage. She expressed appreciation for this commitment and encouraged members to carry it forward.
A timeline chart showed the program’s current stage: Phase 3 - Onboarding and DAO Setup. Previous phases of Preparation, Recruitment, and Selection have been completed, and the next milestone after onboarding will be Execution.
To support participants, she recommended exploring the DEP Docs site, especially the Onboarding Hub. This hub includes DAO basics, guides for DAO tools, and Kambria’s branding guidelines, templates, and policies.
Within the Hub, she highlighted two key parts:
- An onboarding checklist, where five action items (such as joining Discord, setting up MetaMask, accessing shared folders) are already completed, and the remaining items will be addressed together.
- A table of DAO-specific links, such as XDAO spaces, Drive folders, Discord channels, spreadsheets, report forms, and Padlet.
She also introduced the Hub’s section on DAO concepts, explaining why the DAO model is used, the role of the Governance Token, how proposals enable decision-making, and the importance of quorum.
Next, she pointed to the DAO Operating Playbook, which describes the governance flow, the Code of Collaboration, and the framework for conflict handling.
Proposals and reporting were emphasized as the most important part. The Docs provide templates and examples for proposals, submission and voting guidelines, and reporting templates for proposal reports, DAO summary reports, and impact tracking.
Ms. Cao also introduced the core tools of the Experimentation Program:
- MetaMask for wallets, interaction with XDAO, funding, and KAT recognition
- XDAO for proposal submission, voting, and fund management
- Google Drive for materials and working files
- Kambria Discord for communication and collaboration
She reminded members that DAO-specific links are available in the Onboarding Hub.
Looking ahead, she noted the next milestones:
- Oct 10: Onboarding Sync Meeting to align DAOs and preview proposals
- Oct 10: Proposal submissions on XDAO, followed by a 14-day voting period
- By Oct 17: Preliminary qualification by DAO Facilitators & Tracking Assistants
- Until Oct 24: DAO participants vote on qualified proposals
Details are available on the Program Timeline page in DEP Docs.
Finally, she introduced the support channels, in priority order: check DEP Docs first, ask DAO mates in Discord, reach out to Kambria via the Contact Form if needed, and stay updated daily through Discord and email - the main communication channels.

2. Q&A from the DAO Members
In this Session, each DAO Facilitator shared answers for key questions noted from DAO Members.
Grow Together DAO
Question: Will there be opportunities for collaboration across different DAOs, and how can we participate in them effectively?
Answer: At the moment, within the DEP 2025 program, there are no projects that officially belong to more than one DAO. However, you are absolutely welcome to join activities of another DAO as a local volunteer whenever that project needs support.
Connect DAO
Question: What exactly is Connect DAO? Is it mainly about connecting with each other, or is there a broader vision behind it? A clarification would be very helpful.
Answer:
- Connect DAO is not just about “connecting with each other.” Its mission is to facilitate 300 meaningful intergenerational sessions (TECD sessions) between youth and seniors. The goal is to reduce social isolation, foster learning, and create well-being through structured online activities like storytelling, memory games, and music
- So, the vision is about building impactful intergenerational bonds while using DAO tools to coordinate, reward contributions, and share outcomes transparently - not only casual connection.
- For a fuller picture, we invite you to read more on our website:
Nourish DAO
Question: Can DAO facilitate investor or partner linkages for our projects to ensure sustainability?
Answer:
- For now, the DAO will focus on connecting DAO members with Local Delivery Partners to collaborate on this cohort’s projects and build initial impact. This ensures activities are practical, well-supported, and community-rooted with relevant resources. For Nourish DAO, we have 2 Local Delivery Partners that will be introduced to DAO members in Discord.
- After the first cohort, we will also discuss with participants and partners about potential opportunities for further collaboration, including exploring pathways toward sustainability such as investor or partner linkages.
Reflection DAO
Question: What other types of contributions are encouraged besides content creation?
Answer:
- Besides content creation, there are actually many ways to contribute to Reflection DAO. At its core, it’s about creating activities that bring people from other DAOs together, helping them feel comfortable to reflect and share. Overall, it will work toward the final goal of producing meaningful reflective outputs.
- For example, you could help facilitate story circles or small group discussions — that’s really valuable because it gives people a safe space to share. You could also take notes, document, or even help edit the stories so they can be included in our zine or shared back with the community.
- Some of you might be good with visuals or design. You can support layout, graphics, or even create simple posters to invite people to join the reflection activities. Translation is another important contribution, because many of our members are from different countries, so helping to make reflections accessible across languages is a big support.
- And of course, even things like coordinating schedules, encouraging others to share, or just giving thoughtful feedback on someone’s reflection also count. So basically, it’s not just about writing stories, it’s about holding space, documenting, designing, translating, and supporting the flow of reflection together
We have shared answers for other questions on DEP Docs, kindly check the link for more information: The link will be live soon, please check back later.

4. Sharing Back from DAO Members
Grow Together DAO
Michelle Andrea Diyavati M. Meñez, from Grow Together DAO, shared that she is excited to plant and monitor the growth of native trees in Mount Balagbag, in cooperation with the local indigenous Forest Rangers there.
Connect DAO
Ishan Sathe, a member of Connect DAO, reflected on the unique value of connecting seniors with youth. He shared that whenever he communicates with elderly people, the seniors appear happier and more joyful, while he himself also feels better after such conversations.
However, he raised a potential challenge: since the community is international, language could become a barrier. Many elderly participants may not be fluent in English or comfortable listening and understanding in that language.
Ms. Lien shared that as a starting point, the program could reach out to elderly people who can already speak English. Later, the TECD App could extend to other languages, gradually inviting more seniors - including those who speak Indian languages.
Ishan also shared personal experiences: he could invite his own grandparents or seniors from his family and neighborhood, who would likely be interested. He noticed that while some elderly people may initially appear distant, they become visibly brighter and warmer when someone engages with them. Even small gestures - such as smiling or waving to seniors during a walk - often leave them pleasantly surprised and happy.
Nourish DAO
Gibrilla Sesay, from Nourish DAO, shared that for him, the project represents an innovative approach to collaborate with the communities they are working with and with partners, through a decentralized framework, to co-create sustainable solutions in governance.
Reflection DAO
Ngọc Đặng, from Reflection DAO, shared that the most exciting aspect of Reflection DAO is the opportunity to turn the DAO’s work into a living storytelling collective - a place where blockchain technology meets empathy, and where individual voices can come together to create a shared legacy.
Rebecca Ekaro also shared that she is excited to join the DAO to tell stories, and she hopes for good collaboration and for the team to meet their expected goals.
Another Member, Gursehaj Singh, shared that he is really excited to see how the program develops. As soon as he read Reflection DAO’s documentation, he felt a strong resonance with its vision and decided to contribute by joining the program. He also expressed his gratitude and said it was nice meeting everyone.
