Twenty teams. Four finalists. One winner. $100K Prize. After a month-long journey, passing through several stages, Kambria is both humbled and proud (that’s an oxymoron, but it’s true!) to be named the winner of the Blockchain Stars start-up competition.
The competition, hosted by BTC TV, consisted of three elimination rounds. In order to continue in the competition and avoid elimination, each team needed to pitch their project and be selected by a strategic advisor in the first two rounds. Kambria was selected in the first and second rounds by Saeed Gouda, managing partner of ZEOS CAPITAL, who has a special interest in AI. The final round consisted of five judges (including the community), rating each project on a 10-point scale.
Blockchain Stars featured a variety of staunch competition, and it showed. William Ryan, Kambria Community Manager, fought through all three rounds and represented us well! It was not an easy win. Throughout the entire competition, Kambria was both praised and critiqued by the advisors and judges who played a vital role in progressing through each round. The competition was fierce and it came down to the final hours. It came down to YOU, the community.
With almost 6,000 votes over 4 days, we narrowly escaped with the win, and none of it would have been possible without the support of our wonderful community. We would also like to take the time to thank BTC TV, all of the other participants, the strategic advisors, expert judges, and the partners of the show!
