What an incredible week this has been! Thanks to our amazing supporters, Kambria emerged as the victor in the Blockchain Stars finals! We won the entire competition in large part to having won the community voting phase with 29% of the votes! Kambrians, we could not have done this without you! To be sure, it was a tight race — one day we were leading and the next day we were behind. But thanks to the nearly 6,000 votes we received, we’re able to boast having the best community members of all, which is priceless.
Below is the Blockchain Stars finals video announcement. Community Manager, William Ryan, who spearheaded this initiative for Kambria, appears at minute 21:00.
And let’s not forget about our giveaway. Click here to find out which three community members won the 10,000 KAT prizes.
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Token Update
Over the last month, our community has provided us with constructive feedback, and as a result, we have made some changes to the structure of our private sale token distribution plan. Please take a moment to review the details here. We thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing what we can build together.
NEW PARTNERSHIP: Decentralized AI Alliance
Kambria is now a proud member of DAIA — The Decentralized AI Alliance. DAIA is a coalition of companies and participants in both the AI and blockchain ecosystems with the goal to decentralize these technologies for an ethical and truly open future. We will be working alongside several other market leaders where the end goal is to benefit all walks of life. Click here to read more about Kambria’s involvement.
SPECIAL EVENT: DeveloperWeek 2019 Partner Event
This week Kambria participated in DeveloperWeek 2019 — the largest developer conference in both the US and Canada with over 200,000 people in attendance. We claimed our Best in Innovation in Robotics Award at the 2019 DEVIES on Wednesday night and then held one of the few partner events in San Francisco on Thursday night. Our event was titled “Open Source & Ethics in Artificial Intelligence & Blockchain.”
We had great discussions with our accomplished speakers and attendees about artificial intelligence and ethics. There were so many good insights that we’re working on a summary of key topics for you so stayed tuned.
We’d also like to thank our partners and friends at TomoChain for sponsoring our event. We love partnering with TomoChain! Be sure to visit their Telegram, and let them know Kambria sent you.
Have an excellent week, everyone!
