The DAO Experimentation Program (DEP) is off to a strong start! On September 19th, 2025, we came together for the Kickoff Event to launch the Onboarding & DAO Setup Phase. Since then, we’ve not only laid the foundation for DAO operations, but also witnessed the inspiring energy of our members connecting across the globe. At the same time, our collaboration network is expanding with partners who share our vision for decentralized innovation and social impact.

📌 DEP Kickoff Event Recap - A Strong Start to the DAO Experimentation Program
On 19th September 2025, Kambria officially launched the DAO Experimentation Program (DEP) 2025 with an energizing Kickoff Event. The gathering brought together facilitators, DAO members, and the Kambria team to set the tone for the months ahead. This Event ushered in the Onboarding & DAO Setup Phase for our community of changemakers.
📌 What We Covered
- Program Onboarding Overview
Kambria’s core team laid out the road ahead: tools, workflows, governance structure, and proposal/reporting guidelines. We also walked through where we’ve come from (preparation, recruitment, verification) and where we’re headed (onboarding → execution).
The Onboarding Hub, DAO Docs, checklists, and communication channels were introduced as key foundational resources.
- Q&A from DAO Members
In this part, each DAO Facilitator shared answers for key questions noted from DAO Members.
- DAO Dedicated Sessions
Each of the four DAOs (Grow Together, Connect, Nourish, and Reflection) ran parallel sessions to:
- Introduce mission, objectives, and success metrics
- Assign working groups, define roles, and explore group/role-swapping mechanisms
- Map out phase-wise milestones and planning for proposals
- Highlight next steps specific to each DAO
- Sharing back from DAO Members
DAO members from around the world introduced themselves, shared motivations, and highlighted what this journey means to them.
A climate tech founder in Kenya or a nurse in Vietnam - their voices spoke out about hopes for impact, empathy, learning, and shared legacy.
