Kambria Announcement of July Community Contest for DAOs Program

Dear Kambrians,

Following a series of suggestion contests and the launch of Kambria's new program, Kambria DAOs, Kambria is happy to announce our new community contest: DAOs Ideas Suggestions Contest.

In this contest series, we would like to hear fantastic and innovative suggestion ideas for developing Kambria DAOs from our valued Kambria community.

Let’s take a look at what you should do to become a winner:

I. CONTEST RULES

Suggestion Letter:

     The participant will send the Suggestion Letter in the following formats: video, infographic, or article to suggest your ideas for Kambria DAOs.

     Your suggestion letter content should include your suggestions for our 2 first DAOs: a feature for Pet Care Robot and a solution/application for Community DAOs.

     Here are some suggestions for a Suggestion Letter:  

     ✅ Give at least 1 suggestion feature for developing Pet Robot DAO:

• Description of the feature(s) you think Pet Care Robot should have.
• Why do you want to suggest this feature / these features?
• Why should the community vote for this feature / these features?
• Your suggestion on how to implement it? (Optional) 

     ✅ Give at least 1 suggestion for the Solution/Application that will be developed on Community DAOs, for example:

• A description of the solution/application that you want the community DAOs to develop.
• Why do you want to propose this solution for the community DAOs?
• What are your ideas about how to put it into action?
• Why should the community vote for this idea?

     ✅ You must mention or tag Kambria in your entry and post, particularly referring to our Kambria DAOs program. 

     ✅ You must log in/register and submit your work on Kambria Bounty Portal with these steps: 

1. Go to the DAOs Ideas Suggestions Contest page 
2. Clicking on the “Take The Quiz” button (register/login to Kambria Platform is required)
3. Fill in the form with your Kambria’s email registration, your Discord account/ID; your entry link.

Qualification 

Kambria to qualify Suggestion Letters, and please note that: 

Each member suggests at least 1 feature and 1 solution. 

Suggestions for Pet Care robot DAOs feature and Community DAOs solution which are already suggested by another member will be categorized as unqualified. 

Discussion

After qualification, Kambria will post a suggestion letter on #<DAOs ideas>suggestion-contest.

The suggestor will start a discussion to support your idea as a moderator by calling community members to discuss, comment and debate via a thread on Discord within 1 week before the voting poll opens. 

Ideas that are actively supported and discussed by the community will be included in the voting list.  

Vote 

  ✅ 2 voting polls will open from August 11 to August 25, 2022. 

• Poll 1 opens from August 11 to August 18: voting for features of Pet Care Robot DAOs.
• Poll 2 opens from August 18 to August 25: voting for solution/application that will be developed/deployed on Community DAOs. 

   ✅ Members of the community will vote for: 

• Which features do you want to be implemented on Pet Care Robot DAOs?
• Which solutions do you want to be developed on the first community DAOs?

    ✅Each member can only vote once for each feature and once for each solution. 

Rewards

The top 5 suggestion features for Pet Care Robot DAOs with at least 30 votes will receive the reward of 100$ in KYTE.

The top 5 suggestion solutions for Community DAOs with at least 30 votes will receive the reward of 100$ in KYTE.

II. TIMELINE

     ✅ Week 1 (July 07): Announcement.

     ✅Week 1-3 (July 07 - July 28): Suggestions & Submissions.

     ✅ Week 4 (July 28 - August 04): Qualification. 

     ✅ Week 5 (August 04 - August 11): Community discussion.

     ✅ Week 6-7 (August 11 -  August 25): 2 voting polls open. 

• August 11 - August 18: Voting poll of Pet Care Robot’s features.
• August 18 -  August 25: Voting poll of Community DAO’s solutions.

     ✅ Week 8 (August 25 - September 01): Results Announcement.

     ✅ Week 9 (September 01 - September 08): Rewards (prizes, credits)

     ✅ After week 9, starting to apply and develop Kambria's first 2 DAOs.
