It’s our favorite time of the month — time to feature the technical progress we've made on the Kambria platform, the heart of our blockchain ecosystem. Since our last update, we have implemented the Global Innovation Fund proposal submission mechanism, created the token bonus swap mechanism, updated the KAT Wallet, and published new bounty pages to host our challenges. Keep reading for all of the details!
Now Accepting Proposals for the Global Innovation Fund
Thanks to our dev team, researchers can now submit a proposal for Kambria’s Global Innovation Fund (GIF) through the Kambria app. The site provides general information about the GIF program, eligibility guidelines, information about the review process, and more.
The purpose of GIF is to streamline the grant application process for researchers and to provide short-term funding for actionable projects working on real-world applications. Eligible projects will be matched through Kambria’s global network of companies hungry for innovation.
KAT Swap and Bonus Mechanisms Implemented
As many of you know, Kambria recently joined Binance DEX, which required us to create a tool for token holders to swap their KAT tokens to BEP2KAT tokens. We also implemented a new toolchain for the Kambria Wallet to support BEP2-KAT token utilities in the platform.
All throughout, our dev team has been maintaining and supporting the swap operation, which currently offers a limited 10% bonus to all users.
Have you swapped our tokens yet? If not, read this article to learn more about this offer and to access the token bridge tutorial. The 10% bonus offer ends October 15, 2019. If you had previously swapped, and would like to take advantage of the bonus, please submit a request here.
Bounty Pages Created and Maintained for VAGC and Content Challenge
In support of the Vietnam AI Grand Challenge, Kambria dev team hosted the Community Voting campaign and published a new version of the Kambria Wallet to be used by voters.
Five lucky winners were awarded KAT tokens for their participation in choosing and voting for the Grand Prize team. To read more about the Vietnam Grand Challenge teams and community voting winners, read our Recap here.
Our team also published a new bounty page for the Kambria Content Challenge. Submissions are accepted until August 31st so get your articles in soon! Go to the bounty page to learn how you can be rewarded for submitting a quality article through the Challenge.
Thank you for reading! We look forward to providing the next Development Update with soon! As a sneak peek, Kambria is developing online AI courses that will provide many benefits to companies interested in leveraging MOOCs for corporate training. Stay tuned as we will launch our online AI courses!
