Dear Kambrians,
So it has been 3 months since we moved our home to Discord. It feels better, isn’t it? Thank you all for your participation and support of our new activities for the Kambria community. In this letter, we would like to introduce the Quarterly Engagement Rewards as a token of our appreciation.
What are Quarterly Engagement Rewards?
For each time participate and complete an activity (such as Kambria Community Contests), you will earn Kambria Credits - a point rewards system on the Kambria platform.
Every two quarters, we will reward the Top 3 Active Members (with the most Credits accumulated in the quarter) with prizes of $100 – 70 – 50 in KYTE.
Note that in addition to the Quarterly Engagement Rewards, you can also earn a badge corresponding to your total accumulated Credits:
Types of engagement activities and rewards
Community Contest participation
We are opening many contest series that you can choose to join:
✅ Deeptech Project Nomination Contests
✅ Innovative Organization Nomination Contests
✅ Deeptech Expert Nomination Contests
You will earn 10 Credits for completing 1 contest, and 5 Credits for completing 1 minigame.
Active members of the Discord community
The top 50 active members (with Level 1 at least) in the MEE6 leaderboard at the end of the quarter will earn 10 Credits.
Running Community Contests on the Kambria platform
Up to now, the Bounty portal on the Kambria platform is used for KO Hackathons, Starter Program, and Code Challenges... Community Contests are organized on Discord, which has some restrictions such as submissions being collected manually, participation not fully recorded, and Credit rewards cannot be fully applied.
So our next improvement is to bring the Community Contests to the Kambria platform, starting with the upcoming contests including Innovative Organization Nomination, Deeptech Expert Nomination, and DAO Idea Contests.
There will be some small changes in how to join the contests:
- You can check for opening Community Contests and their detailed info in the Kambria Bounty portal https://app.kambria.io/bounty. For example the Innovative Organization Nomination Contest #1
- You can register and submit your work on the Contest page.
- The Kambria team will contact you via email for feedback and instructions during the Contest.
Let’s start the run for Q3-4 Engagement Rewards
For the first quarter on Discord, we have 2 activities including the Technology Review March Contest and the Project Nomination Contest #1. However, since these activities were organized out of the Kambria platform, the participations were not fully recorded and the Credit rewards could not be fully applied.
For that reason, we will start the Quarterly Engagement Rewards from Quarter 3-4 (July to December).
