Dear Kambria Community, our developers have been hard at work and we are pleased to provide you with another update highlighting progress completed on the Kambria platform. Several key feature sets have been enhanced including our Bounty mechanism, KAT Wallet, and KDNA Codebase.

Bounties and Competition

First off, we have further developed our bounty mechanism, the feature through which Kambria will provide Open Innovation-as-a-Service (OIAAS)as discussed in our Master Plan. Through OIAAS, corporations will be able to propose bounties for advanced technology and teams will be able to compete for rewards in multiple rounds. At each round, Kambria community and judges will pick the teams to go to the next round and reward them accordingly. Kambria will earn an administrative fee for organizing and running the challenge, thereby generating real-world revenue.

The Kambria Judge Protocol technical paper has been completed and we recently completed the security audit for the Protocol. You can click here to view the Protocol implementation on GitHub.

On the user interface side, after successfully creating a team in the platform to participate in bounty challenges, team leaders can now register for the bounty and submit their project proposals!

Anyone wanting to join a Bounty Challenge who had not previously created a team will be prompted to do so. The request will be captured and Kambria will review the proposal. In addition, the overall Bounty and Membership system of the platform has been reviewed, audited and refactored for easy maintenance.

KAT Wallet

The Kambria Wallet has been upgraded to Version 2 and now supports Metamask, in addition to software and hardware wallets.

We have also published the Kambria Wallet module publicly so that future 3rd party sites can interact with our token. To view the GitHub for the Kambria Wallet, please click here.

KDNA Codebase

As the platform’s module management and build system, the KDNA Codebase is the heart of our open innovation platform. We strive to make the Codebase easy to use in order to allow developers to efficiently innovate on the work of others, thereby saving time and cost of reinvention. Delivering a developer-friendly system supports our Master Plan goal of building a strong developer community.

In our February update, we reported that our team had:

  • Designed the KDNA schema using RDF (resource description framework)
  • Completed the technical paper on Kambria KDNA system utilizing IPFS (interplanetary file system) and RDF

Since that update, our developers have completed additional R&D on the IPFS (Interplanetary File System) on the blockchain to support file upload to the IPFS network and storage of the hash key into the Ethereum blockchain so that others can retrieve to access the file.

We have also improved the end-to-end test system and developed a test case for the Codebase. Other updates include:

  • Fixing https issues for the IPFS in the production environment
  • R&D on Codebase with respect to the RDF (Resource Description Framework)
  • Solution for version tracking
  • Solution for DAG tree

We think you will agree that we’ve made huge progress on our platform and look forward to keeping you abreast of all development updates! In the meantime, the Kambria team is moving full steam ahead organizing our Global Grand Challenge in order to introduce developers to the Kambria platform.

The Global Grand Challenge is a series of hackathons in several different countries with a focus on creating the Ultimate Personal Assistant using advanced Artificial Intelligence and Robotics technology.

Utilizing the Kambria platform, developers will collaborate to deliver solutions for our partners including top corporations in Vietnam such as SSI, VinGroup, VPBank, Techcombank, Kompa, and McKinsey with a chance to win up to $50,000 USD in prizes. To support this Global Grand Challenge, Kambria purchased $50,000 USD worth in KAT from the market to be distributed to hackathon participants.

If you are a developer interested in building applications related to artificial intelligence, sign up here! Through the Challenge, you will have the opportunity to train, network, and compete with other teams across the globe to create the Ultimate Personal Assistant.

Please stay tuned as we will announce the opening of registrations in the next few weeks! If you have any questions about the Grand Challenge, please join any of the Telegram groups linked below and one of our friendly admins will respond. We always love hearing from you!
