The short film competition “Connecting Generations” – Spreading love through every moment.

As part of the Community Day "Connecting Generations" event, TECD is organizing a short film competition to encourage individuals and teams to create meaningful stories about intergenerational connections within families and society.

Content & Format

The competition aims to explore unique perspectives on generational connections through authentic, emotional stories. Participants can express their creativity through various formats, including:

Documentaries
Reportages
Animated films
Scripted short films

Video entries must convey one or more of the following messages:

✅ Generational connections
✅ Family care
✅ Elderly care

Each video should be 2 to 6 minutes long and submitted in mp4, mpeg, avi, or mov format, with a maximum file size of 3GB.

📌 All entries must include credits acknowledging event sponsors.

How to Participate

Participants must submit their entries online via the link provided by the organizers. The file name should follow this format:
[University Code] - [Participant’s Name] - [NTNS]

Competition Rules

To ensure fairness and quality, participants must adhere to the following rules:

Entries must be original works and must not have won any official awards in previous competitions.
The organizing team reserves the right to use submitted works for promotional and media purposes.
Videos must meet quality standards for clear visuals and audio. Effects may be used, but they must not distort the original content.
Participants are responsible for copyright compliance, ensuring content does not violate any legal or ethical standards.
Any violations may result in disqualification without prior notice.

Judging Criteria & Voting

Submitted videos will be published on the official Community Day Connecting Generation Facebook Fanpage. The top 10 videos with the highest engagement will be shortlisted for judging, based on: 🎬 Creativity & originality
🎬 Video & audio quality
🎬 Relevance to the theme

To recognize outstanding creativity and impactful storytelling, the competition offers a total prize pool of 25 million VND. Winners will be honored at the Community Day: Connecting Generations event.

🥈 Second Prize: 8,000,000 VND
🥉 Third Prize: 5,000,000 VND
🏅 Encouragement Award: 2,000,000 VND
