We are from Kambria (kambria.io) - a technology company dedicated to open innovation, with the vision of building a future where technology is more accessible and contributes more meaningfully to society.

Currently, we are focusing on the development of Kambria DAOs – a model that enables communities to co-own technologies. One of the DAOs we are introducing in 2024 is TECD (Tech-powered Elderly Care DAO) - a tech-enabled solution for elderly care.

TECD is a platform where Seniors can not only connect and share but also explore diverse Subjects through interactive online Sessions with SeniorBuddies.

This solution, supported by AI, addresses the needs of families in caring for their elderly loved ones while offering enriching experiences for Seniors. At the same time, it creates meaningful opportunities for younger generations to participate and contribute.

In the next phase, TECD will expand globally and in both directions: Seniors will also be able to host Connection Sessions to share their life experiences with SeniorBuddies. Both Seniors and SeniorBuddies can receive compensation for sharing, as well as for joining each other’s Sessions. TECD believes the solution will be more complete when intergenerational connections become truly mutual and supportive.

Key Features for Seniors in the 2024 Version of TECD:

  • Browse Upcoming Connection Sessions: You can view detailed information about upcoming Sessions on a wide variety of Subjects, such as: recycled crafts, languages, digital literacy, knitting, drawing, chess, face yoga, meditation, travel, mental health, tea pleasure, and more.
  • Register for a Session: Use this feature to sign up for a Session that interests you. You can also leave a personal note or question for the SeniorBuddy who will join the Session.
  • Join a Connection Session: Participate in a live video Session with a SeniorBuddy using your phone or laptop. You’ll engage in friendly conversation while experiencing the Session Subject together - for example, making a recycled craft item together.
  • AI Assistant: If you're not yet familiar with technology, don’t worry - TECD includes an AI Assistant to help guide you step by step, such as setting up your device before starting a Session.
