Dear Kambrians,
As designed in the Kambria DAOs governance model:
- Besides 40% (400 GTs) allocated to big fund contributors, another 40% will be allocated to active LP token holders in terms of their participation in DAO businesses.
- We will implement a point reward system for DAO members to accumulate points each time they participate in DAO activities (inherited from the Kambria Credit system on the Kambria platform).
- Top Active Members (with the most points accumulated in Year X, forming the group of Year X) will join the DAO Council for the 1-year term of Year X+1, with GTs transferred from the group of Year X-1.
- Each member of this group will have 4 GTs equally (max 100 members).
- Note that this group should be diversified by locals and expertise to be the country leaders of the DAO hubs (for local production and commercialization…), which could become subDAOs in the later phases.
In this article (updated Dec 2024), we would like to introduce a new, more suitable mechanism for those who contribute significantly to the success of the DAO to become members of the DAO Council.
Overview
As a decentralized organization, all work in Kambria DAOs is executed through partnerships, such as:
- Kambria as Organizer: Responsible for operations
- Dev Partner: Develops tech solutions
- Community Partner: Builds local networks (DAO Hubs)
- Channel Partners: Distributes products
- Service Partners: Implements services using the tech solution
- Production Partners: Manufactures products
The mechanism is simple: All partners collaborating with the DAO for at least 1 year with active participation and good achievements, and holding a required value of DAO LP or Kambria tokens, are eligible to become members of the DAO Council.
Kambria Credit is a point reward system reflecting activeness in Kambria activity participation. Higher efforts will be honored with higher rewards. You can check [this page] for more information about Kambria Credit and Karma point reward systems. This article focuses on the extension of Kambria Credit application for DAO activities.

This detailed framework is expected to be continuously improved as we learn through the development of Kambria DAOs and our own experience building the Model DAOs.
Dev Partner
Participation is defined by solution development milestones evaluated by the Judge Committee.
- Active participation:
- +100 Credits for each milestone completed within 1 month of the due date.
- -100 Credits for each milestone completed 2 months later than the scheduled deadline.

Channel Partner
Channel Partners provide essential onboarding and support services for customers in their region.

- -100 Credits for each month onboarding 0 new customers.
- Good achievements:
- +5 Credits for each subscription purchase.
- -5 Credits for each support ticket rated 1* by a customer.

Execution Timeline
The calculation and application of Credit rewards will be executed automatically or manually every 6 months, depending on whether the rule is programmable or not and the complexity of programming that rule..
Rules will be reviewed and updated annually based on feedback and operational learnings.
The framework will be implemented in 2025 and applied in 2026, aligning with business growth. Regular evaluations will be conducted to ensure its effectiveness and adaptability.
